Synthetic analogue of prostaglandin F₂α, similar to D-Cloprostenol.

Mechanism of the Effect

D-Cloprostenol is a synthetic analog of prostaglandin F2α and possesses all its effects. This drug causes myometrial contraction, cervical relaxation, and reduction of uterine volume. When administered on days 4-5, it induces functional and morphological regression of the corpus luteum.

Caution
