Mechanism of the Effect
Tiamulin is a pleuromutilin-derived antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby halting vital cellular functions of susceptible microorganisms.
Oxytetracycline is a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic that prevents the attachment of aminoacyl-tRNA to the 30S ribosomal subunit, effectively blocking protein synthesis and bacterial growth. It also interacts with the 50S subunit, altering bacterial membrane permeability.

Use case
Tiamulin + Oxytetracycline is effective against a wide range of microorganisms, including Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Rickettsia, Spirochetes, and numerous gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria—both aerobic and anaerobic—such as E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., and even certain protozoa.
This combination is widely used for the prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases in poultry, including:
Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)
Complicated CRD (CCRD)
Infectious synovitis
The amount and how to use
Dosage & Administration (Oral Use – via Drinking Water or Feed)
Broilers: 1 kg of product per 8 tons of body weight daily ≈ 4 kg per 1000 liters of drinking water ≈ 8 kg per 1 ton of feed
Layers: 1 kg per 1000 liters of drinking water or 2 kg per 1 ton of feed for 7 consecutive days
Broiler Breeders: 4 kg per 1000 liters of drinking water or 8 kg per 1 ton of feed for 3 consecutive days
Turkeys: 6 kg per 1000 liters of drinking water for 3 consecutive days
Caution
Keep out of reach of children.
Drug interference
Concurrent administration of Tiamulin + Oxytetracycline with β-lactams, macrolides, aminoglycosides, or divalent/trivalent cations such as aluminum, calcium, magnesium, and iron should be avoided.

Storage Conditions: Store in a dry place, at 25°C, and away from light.
