Compounds
Each kilogram contains: Tiamulin (as hydrogen fumarate): 450 g

Mechanism of the Effect
Tiamulin is a semi-synthetic, bacteriostatic antibiotic used for the rapid treatment of mycoplasmal and bacterial infections in broiler and layer pullets, breeder and layer hens, as well as turkey poults and breeders. In addition to its strong efficacy against Mycoplasma species, tiamulin is also highly active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Its mechanism of action involves inhibiting protein synthesis within microbial cells, thereby preventing bacterial growth and replication, ultimately leading to the elimination of pathogenic organisms.

Use case
Tiamulin 45% Rooyan is used for the treatment of infections caused by Mycoplasma, as well as bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, joints, and intestines in poultry. It exhibits strong efficacy against the following microorganisms:
Mycoplasma species
Gram-positive bacteria such as Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, and Clostridium
Gram-negative bacteria including Haemophilus, Actinobacillus, Pasteurella, Fusobacterium, Bacteroides, Campylobacter, and others
Importantly, the use of Tiamulin 45% Rooyan in breeder hens does not reduce egg production or hatchability.

The amount and how to use
Dosage & Preparation: Dissolve 100 g of Tiamulin 45% in 200 liters of drinking water for 3 to 4 consecutive days, starting after the appearance of clinical signs.
Best Practice for Preparation: Dissolve the powder first in a small volume of lukewarm water, then add the solution to the main water tank. The medicated solution should be prepared fresh daily

Caution
Keep out of reach of children.

Drug interference
Concurrent use of Tiamulin with monensin, salinomycin, or narasin is strictly contraindicated. There should be a minimum 7-day interval between the administration of these ionophore anticoccidials and tiamulin.

Maintenance conditions
Store in a dry place, at a temperature below 25°C, and away from direct sunlight.
