SUIDOX veterinary solution typically contains disinfectant and antibacterial agents (such as iodine, chlorhexidine, or similar compounds) that kill bacteria, fungi, and viruses by disrupting their cell walls and proteins. This product is mainly used for disinfecting wounds, surfaces, and veterinary equipment, preventing microbial growth.
Use case
SUIDOX is recommended for the treatment of colibacillosis, chronic respiratory disease (CRD), mycoplasmosis, and other microorganisms sensitive to doxycycline.
The amount and how to use
SUIDOX should be administered orally by mixing it into the drinking water of birds.
Mix 0.5 to 1 ml of SUIDOX oral solution per liter of drinking water (equivalent to 50 to 100 mg doxycycline per liter of water) daily.
The treatment course lasts 3 to 5 days.
It is recommended to prepare fresh medicated water every 12 hours and provide it continuously to the birds.
Caution
As with all tetracyclines, allergic reactions and photosensitivity may occur.
If birds are treated with doses higher than the recommended amounts, treatment should be discontinued immediately and symptomatic treatment should be administered accordingly.
Keep out of reach of children.
Drug interference
Do not administer to animals that are allergic to tetracyclines.
Not recommended for use in animals with liver problems.
