Each mL of Rinogonad contains 50 µg of gonadorelin acetate.
Mechanism of the Effect
Rinogonad is transported via the portal venous circulation to the anterior pituitary gland, where it stimulates the release of gonadotropins: follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) in females, and promotes spermatogenesis in males.
The onset of action is approximately 2 hours, and the half-life is less than 3 hours. During this period, the peptide is broken down into amino acids and eliminated from tissues.
