Mechanism of the Effect
This medication is recommended for replacing lost water and electrolytes in cases of acute diarrhea and transport-related stress. In such situations, continuing treatment with oral electrolytes after initial injections and therapy helps accelerate the effects of prescribed medications in the animal. Its use is particularly recommended for diarrhea in very young animals (calves under 3 months old).

The amount and how to use
Dissolve 25 grams of ORS powder in one liter of drinking water. Administer 1 to 1.5 liters, three times a day for 3 to 4 days, adjusting the amount based on the animal’s weight. Always follow your veterinarian’s instructions.
Caution
For oral use only; do not inject.
Use with caution in cases of gastrointestinal obstruction or severe vomiting.
Avoid use in animals with kidney or heart failure unless directed by a veterinarian.
The prepared solution must be used fresh and not stored for more than 24 hours.
