Mechanism of the Effect
Levamisole (the active ingredient) causes paralysis of parasites by stimulating their neuromuscular receptors, leading to their expulsion from the host animal’s body. Additionally, this drug has an immune system–enhancing effect.
Use case
Treatment of infections caused by intestinal worms (such as Ascaris, Heterophilus, and other intestinal worms).
Control and treatment of external parasites like certain lice and ticks (depending on the drug formulation).
Immune system enhancement in animals affected by certain diseases (supportive effect).
The amount and how to use
1 mL per 1 liter of water
3 drops per 100 mL of water
Use for 3 to 5 consecutive days
For use as a supplement: once weekly
Caution
