Mechanism of the Effect
Fosfomycin is a bactericidal antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by preventing the formation of N-acetylmuramic acid.

The amount and how to use
160 mg per kg of live body weight per day for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
Caution
Keep out of reach of children.
Drug interference
No antagonistic effects have been reported between this drug and other water-soluble drugs or feed additives commonly used in poultry and other domestic animals. Synergistic effects have been observed between this drug and erythromycin, tylosin, ampicillin, gentamicin, and trimethoprim.
Maintenance conditions
Store at 15–30°C, away from heat and excessive humidity.
