Mechanism of the Effect
Florfenicol is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity, which works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria. It is effective against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria isolated from domestic animals.

Use case
Phenyl Foral® is used for the control and treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases in poultry caused by microorganisms sensitive to florfenicol, such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., and others.

The amount and how to use
Dosage and Administration:
20 mg per kg of body weight per day, equivalent to 1 liter of Phenyl Foral® in 1,000 liters of drinking water, administered for 5 consecutive days.
Important Notes:
Dosage and duration should be determined by a veterinarian.
The medicated solution must be prepared fresh daily and used within 24 hours.
During the treatment period, medicated water should be the only source of drinking water.
After opening the bottle, the contents should be used within 30 days.

Precautions:
This product is for veterinary use only.
Keep out of reach of children.
During preparation of the solution, wear protective clothing, impermeable gloves, safety goggles, and a dust-resistant mask.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Drug interference
Concurrent use with other antibiotic compounds should be avoided.
