Each liter of the solution contains 100 grams of enrofloxacin.
Mechanism of the Effect
Enrofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the fluoroquinolone class, which exerts its effect by inhibiting the enzyme DNA gyrase, thereby eliminating bacteria.
This drug has a relatively high rate of oral absorption and rapidly distributes throughout various body tissues.
Use case
Enrofloxacin 10% Rooyan is used for the treatment of single or mixed infectious diseases caused by aerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as mycoplasmas, in chickens and turkeys.
It is effective against conditions such as CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease), colisepticemia, fowl cholera, infectious coryza, salmonellosis, and other infections caused by bacteria sensitive to this drug.
The amount and how to use
Dosage: 0.5 liters per 1000 liters of drinking water for poultry, for a duration of 3 to 5 days, as recommended by a veterinarian.
Enrofloxacin 10% Rooyan can be added directly to the poultry house’s water source.
Medicated water should be consumed within 24 hours, and no other water source should be available to the birds during the treatment period.
For salmonellosis or pasteurellosis, a treatment period of 5 to 10 days should be applied.
Caution
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use in laying birds whose eggs are intended for human consumption.
Drug interference
Concurrent use of enrofloxacin with tetracyclines and macrolides is not recommended due to the potential for antagonistic effects.
Maintenance conditions
Store in a dry place, at a temperature between 10 and 25°C, away from direct sunlight, and in tightly closed containers.
