Aluminum sachets: 1 kg and 5 kg Bags: 20 kg and 25 kg
Compounds
Each kilogram of Clopidol 25% contains 250 grams of clopidol.
Mechanism of the Effect
Clopidol (3,5-dichloro-2,6-dimethyl-4-pyridinol) is a pyridinol derivative and a chemical coccidiostat.
It acts by interfering with the energy metabolism of coccidial parasites.
Use case
Clopidol 25% is used for the control and prevention of coccidiosis in broiler chickens throughout the rearing period, as well as in replacement pullets and fattening turkeys.
It is effective against all pathogenic Eimeria species in poultry and turkeys, including:
E. tenella, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. necatrix, E. brunetti, E. meleagrimitis, and E. praecox.
The amount and how to use
For broilers, replacement pullets, and fattening turkeys:
Administer continuously at a dosage of 500 g per ton of complete feed.
Caution
– Do not mix with other coccidiostats.
– Thoroughly mix with feed before use. The best practice is to pre-mix the required amount with 5–10 times its weight in feed, then mix with the entire batch.
– Wear protective clothing, gloves, and a dust mask during handling as it may cause severe eye irritation or sensitization. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
– Avoid skin contact.
– Seal the bag tightly after use.
– Keep out of reach of children.
Drug interference
Concurrent use with other anticoccidial drugs is prohibited.
Maintenance conditions
