Each kilogram of Tylosin Phosphate 25% Rooyan contains 250 grams of active tylosin.
Mechanism of the Effect
Tylosin is an antibiotic from the macrolide class, derived from the fermentation of a type of fungus.
This antibiotic inhibits bacterial growth and causes bacterial death by preventing protein synthesis through binding to ribosomes.
The specific mechanism of macrolides not only stops the rapid growth of microorganisms but also helps prevent the development of bacterial resistance.
Use case
Tylosin Phosphate 25% Rooyan is intended solely for veterinary use and is primarily effective against gram-positive bacteria. However, it also affects spirochetes and certain gram-negative bacteria (excluding coliforms).
Tylosin phosphate is used for controlling chronic respiratory disease (CRD) in replacement pullets and broiler chicks, enhancing weight gain and improving feed conversion ratio in broilers, and increasing egg production in laying hens.
The amount and how to use
Broiler chicks and replacement laying pullets:
For the treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, it is recommended to use 4 kilograms of Tylosin Phosphate 25% Rooyan per ton of feed during the first 5 days of life, with a repeated administration for 2 days between weeks 3 to 5.
Caution
During the handling and application of the medication, use protective clothing, gloves, and a dust mask.
Keep out of reach of children.
Drug interference
Avoid using Tylosin Phosphate 25% Rooyan simultaneously with other antibiotics mixed in the feed.
Maintenance conditions
Store in a dry place, away from direct light, and at a temperature below 25°C.
