Tiamsol Rooyan® | ®Tiamsol Rooyan Each milliliter of Tiamsol Rooyan® contains 125 mg of the active ingredient tiamulin hydrogen fumarate.
Mechanism of the Effect
Tiamsol Rooyan® is a semi-synthetic, bacteriostatic antibiotic used for treating mycoplasma and bacterial infections in broiler and layer pullets, breeder and laying hens, as well as turkey poults and breeders.
Additionally, tiamulin is highly effective against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. This antibiotic works by inhibiting protein synthesis within microbial cells, thereby preventing their growth and multiplication, ultimately leading to the elimination of the pathogens.
Use case

The amount and how to use
Tiamsol Rooyan® is effective in the treatment of poultry mycoplasmosis (CRD) and is also highly effective against infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria sensitive to tiamulin, such as certain staphylococcal and streptococcal infections, as well as Gram-negative bacteria such as Klebsiella, Pasteurella, and several Spirochetes and Haemophilus species.
Caution
This is an oral solution and should be administered via drinking water.
A dosage of 10–20 grams of the active ingredient tiamulin hydrogen fumarate, equivalent to 80–160 mL of the solution per 1000 kg of live body weight, is recommended for 3 days.
At high concentrations or doses exceeding the recommended level, symptoms of toxicity and reduced water intake may occur. In such cases, discontinue medicated water and provide clean, fresh water. No side effects are observed in poultry when used at the recommended dosage.
Drug interference
Inhalation by humans in areas where Tiamsol Rooyan® particles are dispersed is not permitted.
To prevent contact with human skin and eye mucosa when handling concentrated tiamulin solution, the use of gloves and a safety mask is recommended.
In case of contact between concentrated Tiamsol Rooyan® solution and the skin, rinse the affected area thoroughly with plenty of water.
Keep out of reach of children.
Maintenance conditions
Store in a dry place, at a temperature between 10–25°C, away from direct sunlight, and in tightly sealed containers.
After opening the bottle, its contents can be used for up to 3 months. Once mixed with water, the medicated solution remains usable for up to 24 hours.
