Each kilogram of lincomycin premix contains 8.8 grams of lincomycin (as hydrochloride salt).
Mechanism of the Effect
Lincomycin binds to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, inhibiting the formation of peptide bonds during protein synthesis. This action results in the suppression of bacterial growth (bacteriostatic effect).
The drug is primarily effective against Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasmas. At high doses or against highly sensitive bacteria, it may also exhibit a bactericidal effect.
Use case
For the control of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens, promotion of growth and improvement of feed conversion ratio in broiler chickens, and control of CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease).
The amount and how to use
For necrotic enteritis, control of CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease), improvement of growth rate, and enhancement of feed conversion ratio at a dosage of 500 grams per ton of feed, from the first week of broiler rearing until the end of the production cycle.

Drug interference
Concurrent use with erythromycin, tylosin, and novobiocin is not recommended.
Lincomix 8.8 is compatible with all coccidiostats and growth promoters.

Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, and at a temperature below 25°C.
