Each kilogram of Tia Guard contains 100 g of tiamulin hydrogen fumarate.
Mechanism of the Effect
Mechanism of Action – TyaGard (Tylosin Tartrate): TyaGard is a macrolide antibiotic based on tylosin tartrate, which acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.
Tylosin binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, blocking peptidyl transfer during translation, thereby halting bacterial growth and replication. It is primarily effective against gram-positive bacteria and certain Mycoplasma species.
Use case
Tia Guard is used for the control of mycoplasmal infections (chronic respiratory disease) in poultry.
Its active ingredient, tiamulin hydrogen fumarate, is effective against:
Gram-positive bacteria (Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp.)
Selected gram-negative bacteria (Campylobacter, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus spp.)
Anaerobes (Clostridium perfringens)
Spirochetes
Mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae)
The amount and how to use
1- درمان بیماری مزمن تنفسی CRD و ساینوویت عفونی: میزان مصرف براساس سن و نوع طیور تقریبا 25-50 میلی‌گرم تیامولین به ازاء هر کیلوگرم وزن زنده پرنده، به صورت روزانه و به مدت 3-5 روز متوالی توصیه می‌گردد. میزان توصیه شده معمولا با مخلوط نمودن 500ppm تیامولین در دان 55 کیلوگرم پریمکس تیامولین 10% در یک تن دان) حاصل می‌آید.
2- برای کنترل CRD در طیور گوشتی: میزان مصرف تقریبا 3 میلی‌گرم تیامولین به ازاء هر کیلوگرم وزن زنده پرنده، به صورت روزانه در دوره خطر 11 الی 5 هفتگی توصیه می‌گردد. میزان توصیه شده معمولا با مخلوط نمودن 30ppm تیامولین در دان 0/3 کیلوگرم پریمکس تیامولین 10% در یک تن دان) حاصل می‌آید.
3- کنترل CRD در مرغ‌های مادر و تخم‌گذار و بهبود تولید تخم‌مرغ: میزان مصرف تقریبا معادل 3 میلی‌گرم تیامولین به ازاء هر کیلوگرم وزن زنده پرنده، به صورت روزانه به مدت 1 هفته در ماه و در تمام طول دوره تخمگذاری توصیه می‌گردد. میزان توصیه شده معمولاً با مخلوط نمودن 50ppm تیامولین در دان 0/5 کیلوگرم پریمیکس تیامولین 10% در یک تن دان) حاصل می‌آید.
Caution
TyaGard (Veterinary Use):
Contraindicated in animals with known hypersensitivity to tetracycline compounds.
Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
Meat and milk withdrawal periods must be strictly observed.
Drug interference
TyaGard should not be administered concurrently with ionophores such as monensin, salinomycin, or narasin, as this may lead to severe toxicity or even death in animals. Additionally, concurrent use with other protein synthesis inhibitors that share a similar mechanism of action should be avoided
Maintenance conditions
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature (below 30°C), away from direct light, and out of reach of children.
